EL DORADO

Con EL DORADO we enter the heart of Central American mythology. El Dorado is a mythical place, where men live in peace among themselves, between cities paved with gold and mountains of emeralds. A place, that the wealth of gold found by the first conquistadors, unleashed the fantasies and greed of kings and bankers from all over Europe. The legend of the Indio Dorado, an Indian king who immersed himself in the Guatavita lagoon, covered in gold dust, throwing immense quantities of precious stones, attracted the attention of European sovereigns for decades. But the city of gold was never found. The myth, however, remains, still alive today.
